The Nomad World 2023: A magic Week of Adventure, Connection, and a Three-Way Handshake

The Nomad World Festival, held in Albufeira, Portuguese Algarve, from October 9th to 14th, 2023, was an exceptional gathering of around 200 digital nomads. The mornings were charged with inspiring talks on various subjects, from crypto, AI, and fitness to mental health and the art of managing remote businesses. Our founder, Christoph Huebner, delivered a keynote titled “Take Risks. Confidently,” shedding light on four inconvenient truths about insurance for digital nomads. These sessions served as a catalyst for fresh ideas and invigorating discussions.

Insurance Broker’s license granted

On July 14, 2021, the Estonian Financial Supervision Authority (Finantsinspektsioon) officially granted the insurance brokers license to Herrmann, Huebner & Partner. After an application process of 1.5 years, they are now among the first e-Residency companies to receive this license in Estonia.

In the words of founder and managing director Christoph Huebner: “We are happy to finally be in the position where we can help fellow e-Residents and location independent entrepreneurs around the world to cover their insurance needs. Global health insurance for digital nomads is our expertise and passion!”
