There is no maximum duration for April International’s IPMI plans, allowing coverage to continue indefinitely as long as the premiums are paid. This flexibility supports expatriates, long-term travelers, and international employees who require continuous health insurance coverage across different countries
For health, assistance, and personal liability insurance, individuals insuring in zones 0, 1, 2, as well as Mexico and Thailand, must be younger than 71 years old. For health, assistance, and personal liability insurance in zones 3, 4, and 5 (excluding Mexico and Thailand), the maximum entry age is 75 years. For death and care capital insurance as well as daily sickness benefits, applicants must be between 18 and 65 years old. The specific age requirements make April International adaptable to different regional requirements while offering extensive coverage for various age groups

These plans are ideal for extended stays abroad with no predefined maximum duration, providing continuous coverage as long as premiums are paid. Coverage renews automatically each year unless canceled by the policyholder, offering a reliable solution for those requiring ongoing international health insurance

April International provides unlimited coverage for medical repatriation or transport to the most appropriate hospital or to the insured’s home country. This service ensures that policyholders can access suitable medical care if local facilities are inadequate, offering comprehensive protection during emergencies with no predefined limits.
If the parent has been insured for at least 12 consecutive months under a maternity coverage plan, the newborn can be insured without medical formalities by submitting an application and birth certificate within 30 days after birth. If the parent has been insured for less than 12 months or not under maternity coverage, a health questionnaire and hospital birth report are required, with coverage starting the day after medical approval.

General Dental Services: Emergency Plan: Not covered. Basic Plan: Covers up to €500/USD per year. Essential Plan: Covers up to €1,000/USD per year. Comfort Plan: Covers €2,000/USD per year in the first two years, increasing to €3,000/USD per year from the third year. Premium Plan: Covers €4,000/USD per year in the first two years, increasing to €5,000/USD per year from the third year. Orthodontics for Children up to 18 Years (Treatment must begin before age 16): Emergency, Basic, and Essential Plans: Not covered. Comfort Plan: Covers up to €1,000/USD per year for up to three years. Premium Plan: Covers up to €1,500/USD per year for up to three years.
Emergency & Basic Plans: Alternative therapies are not covered. Essential Plan: Covers consultations with etiopaths, homeopaths, acupuncturists, phytotherapists, and practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine up to €500/USD per year. Comfort Plan: Increases coverage up to €1,000/USD per year for the same therapies. Premium Plan: Provides extensive coverage up to €2,000/USD per year for alternative medical treatments.
