Premiums depends on age, destination and deductible. Underwriting is subject to medical risk assessment.
The duration of the contract is infinite. This means it cannot be terminated by the insurance provider. As a client you can cancel with one month notice.
There is no maximum age limit for entry into COVRD.EE’s insurance plans, making them accessible to individuals of all ages. However, all applicants must undergo medical underwriting to assess their eligibility, ensuring that health risks are appropriately evaluated before coverage is granted.
The minimum contract duration for COVRD.EE is 12 months, making it suitable for long-term commitments, especially for those living or working abroad.
Currently, COVRD.EE does not offer medical consultation services, focusing instead on providing comprehensive health insurance coverage that supports policyholders in accessing necessary healthcare when needed.
Covrd offers unlimited coverage for necessary medical transport due to illness or accident, including rescue flights with specially equipped ambulance aircraft when medically justified. This comprehensive support extends to the transport of mortal remains and funeral costs in the unfortunate event of an insured person's death abroad, covering expenses for repatriation of remains or burial at the place of death.
For newborns, insurance coverage begins immediately after birth if one parent has been insured under the group insurance contract for at least three months on the day of birth and the newborn accompanies the insured parent; coverage starts without risk premiums or waiting periods if the application is made retroactively within two months of the birth date, but cannot exceed that of the covered parent, while applying for coverage later may involve a risk premium up to the simple premium amount, and the birth certificate serves as the registration of the newborn; additionally, the birth of a child is treated as an adoption if the child is still a minor, with a possible agreement on a risk premium due to increased risk.
