The maximum entry age for Genki insurance is 55 years. This limit applies to new applicants, while existing members can continue their coverage beyond this age.
Genki insurance has a 12-month minimum contract. Cancellation can be requested after this period, with the effective date being after the request, after the paid period, and on the same day of the month your insurance started. For example, if it started on the 15th, cancellation must also be on the 15th or the last day of the month if the 15th doesn’t exist.
They currently haven't partnered with a telemedicine provider for direct billing through Genki Native yet, but are working on this. In the meantime, customers can use any telemedicine provider and submit a claim as usual.
Genki covers emergency transport to the nearest suitable hospital by road, air, water, or rail. It also includes transport for outpatient treatments like dialysis, radiation, and chemotherapy. For serious surgeries or long-term recovery, transport to another country is available with prior approval. In the unfortunate event of death, repatriation of mortal remains is also covered, ensuring support for loved ones during difficult times.
Newborns are covered from birth if at least one parent has been insured for at least three months, the newborn stays with the parent on the day of birth, and coverage is requested in writing within two months. There is no waiting period, but coverage cannot exceed that of the insured parent. A birth certificate may be required. Adopted children under 18 are covered under the same conditions, though a risk surcharge of up to 100% may apply if there is a higher medical risk.

Basic Plan: No dental coverage included. Premium Plan: Provides up to €2,000 per insurance year for a range of dental treatments. This includes pain relief, fillings, inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, extractions, checkups, professional cleanings (up to €200 per year), dentures, and other prescribed dental treatments such as root canals. A 12-month waiting period applies to inlays, crowns, bridges, and dentures. However, implants, orthodontics, and cosmetic procedures like bleaching are not covered.
Basic Plan: No coverage for alternative treatments. Premium Plan: Covers up to €500 per insurance year for osteopathy, chiropractic care, massages, acupuncture, and homeopathy. However, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and other alternative treatments are not included.
