The maximum entry age for Foyer Global Health insurance is 64 years. This entry limit applies to new applicants, while existing members can continue their coverage beyond this age.
The minimum contract duration is typically one year, with coverage designed for expatriates who need mid- to long-term health insurance. Contracts automatically renew annually unless canceled with a notice period of at least 30 days before the renewal date
Foyer offers a comprehensive teleconsultation service through its health portal, available in English, German, and French. There are no limits on the number of consultations or locations, making it a highly accessible option for policyholders who need medical advice wherever they are, without any geographical restrictions. This multilingual approach ensures effective communication for users.
Foyer offers coverage for medically necessary evacuations and repatriations, including transportation within the country of stay or cross-border, coordinated with the insurer. The policy covers the return trip to the country of residence by first-class train or economy-class flight, up to €3,000, along with medically necessary transport accompaniment. This benefit ensures that patients receive appropriate care and support during emergency transfers.
Newborn insurance coverage begins immediately from birth, without waiting periods or risk assessments, provided both parents have been insured with Foyer for at least three months before the birth. The application must be submitted retroactively within two months after birth, effective from the first day of the birth month.

Basic Dental Treatments (e.g., simple fillings, root canal treatment): Essential Plan: Covers only pain treatment. Special & Exclusive Plans: No limits on basic dental services. Comprehensive Dental Services (e.g., dentures, bridges, orthodontics): Essential Plan: Not covered. Special Plan: Covers up to €2,000. Exclusive Plan: Covers up to €5,000. Dental Treatments Following an Accident: Essential Plan: Not covered. Special & Exclusive Plans: No limits on accident-related dental treatments.
Essential Plan: Covers acupuncture, homeopathy, osteopathy, and chiropractic, including associated medications and bandages, up to €1,000 per year. Special Plan: Provides coverage up to €2,500 per year for the same alternative treatments. Exclusive Plan: Extends coverage up to €5,000 per year for these therapies.
